Young people worried about the post-Covid-19, the restart after the acute crisis of the Coronavirus Emergency has begun, and the worst seems to be behind us. However, the real focus of this restart, consisting mainly of young people, seems to be largely pessimistic. That’s right: according to a study conducted by IZI in collaboration with Comin & Partners, in fact, an important slice of young Italians are looking to the future with very little hope.

The survey was conducted on a sample of over 1,000 people between 18 and 40 years old. The results tell us that only 21% look to the future with optimism. Of the rest, 27% are convinced that their working future will not change due to the health and economic crisis. All the others, on the other hand, are pessimistic: one young person out of two is therefore convinced that they are going to meet less paid jobs. Or to important periods of unemployment. Only 22% seem to be determined to invest in training to improve their training.

“Without a shadow of a doubt, the first step is to take action on the training front, to add key skills to your professional profile,” explains Carola Adami, co-founder of the Adami & Associati recruitment company.
